Save $15 on a 1 Year/400 Minute Card - Tracfone Website

1 Year/400 Minute Tracfone Card Discount

To start this off, Tracfone is offering $15 off their 1 Year/ 400 Minute Card. This brings the price down to $85 (although you may have to pay some significant taxes). This is a pretty good price, as minutes are rarely discounted very much. Plus, if you are using a non-Android device, you can get 250 bonus minutes from our Tracfone Promo Codes.

The code for $15 off is 99138 and you enter this at checkout on the Tracfone website.

However, you can also find similar prices for the 1 Year card on eBay from a variety of sources. Many of these sellers will mail you the PIN, but some will actually email you the PIN so you can input it faster.

We haven't tried all of these sellers, so we can't verify every one, but many users have found that buying through online retailers like Amazon and eBay is a good way to save some money. Do a little of your own research, and hopefully save some money on minutes!

Moto X 32GB Developers Edition
With Tracfone adding 4G LTE service to their BYOP program, it opens the door to some really impressive phones, but also some fantastic deals like this Moto X 32GB Android.

This phone comes with a nice 4.7" display, 2 GB of RAM, a 10 MP camera, and 32 GB of storage space. There is also a newer version of this phone, but it is a bit more expensive. At a little under $250, this is a great value, especially if you're in need of a lot of internal memory.

LG G2 on Amazon

LG G2 with 5.2" Screen, 32 GB Memory
The LG G2 is another device that could be used with Tracfone 4G LTE BYOP. This phone might be even more impressive than the Moto X, because it features a 5.2" screen, 2 GB RAM, quad core processor, and 32 GB of internal memory. Several refurbished versions can be found on eBay for about $150, with a new LG G2 phone at closer to $300 (still not a bad deal for the specs).

Tracfone LG Ultimate 2 with Minutes

1. Tracfone Moto E with 1200 Minutes for $99
The Moto E comes with Android 4.4 and is one of the better smartphones currently available with Tracfone. It has a 4.3" touchscreen, dual-core processor, and great battery life. It doesn't have a front facing camera, but does have a 5mp rear camera. View the full specs on our Moto E page.

With this deal you get the phone, plus a 400 minute/ 1 year of service card. The card itself usually retails for $100, making the phone basically free. The Moto E often retails for around $90.

2. LG 306G or 305C for $10

LG 306G on Amazon

The LG 306G and 305C are feature phones with 3.5" touchscreens. They run a java based operating system which allows the use of some apps, but doesn't use a standard operating system like Android.

They have a single 'pool' for minutes, unlike the separated talk/text/data on Android phones. You also get Triple Minutes for Life. The LG 306G is for use with GSM networks, while the 305C is for CDMA. Basically if you currently use a phone with 'G' at the end, go with the 306G, and if you use a phone with 'C' then use the 305C.

If you are looking at buying the LG 306G, and you could use some additional minutes, this is a great deal. The 200 minute card you get with this bundle is usually $40 in stores, but you get it for just $35 (plus shipping). You also get the LG 306G for free.

4. LG Ultimate 2 with 1200 Minutes for $129

Minute cards, which are used to add extra airtime to your phone, as well as extend the service days, don't often go on sale. But these two deals provide a nice little discount on the normal price.

The 200 minute card usually retails for $40 in stores and on the Tracfone website. But you can get it for a little less through this sale.

The 400 Minute/1 Year of service card goes for $100 in stores and online, but if you enter promo code 84299 on the Tracfone website at checkout, you get $15 off.

3. Alcatel Onetouch Icon Pop with 1200 Minutes for $129

With the largest screen (5"), the Alcatel Onetouch Icon Pop is a big phone that comes with a Quad-core 1.2Ghz processor, front and rear camera, and Android 4.4.

When the Alcatel was first released for Tracfone in Nov 2014, it started at $149 for the phone itself. Now you can get the phone PLUS a 400 Minute/1 Year card (worth $100) for $129! Its a great bargain.

4. LG 305C and LG 306G for $10 each

For those who don't need all the features of an Android phone, and want to keep more money in their pocket, the LG 305C/306G are going for a great price.

They come with a 3.5" touchscreen, and a variety of other features, and Triple Minutes for Life.

For those who might not know, the LG 305C is for people who use CDMA cell phone networks with Tracfone, and the LG 306G is for those who use GSM with Tracfone. While the Moto EX431G isn't an Android phone, it does have Triple Minutes for Life, and plenty of the basic cell phone features you expect from a Tracfone device. it also has a nice QWERTY keyboard which makes texting fast and fluid.

1. Motorola EX 431G for $5 (or $100 with 2000 minutes!)

About the Deal: This Motorola phone has a full QWERTY keyboard that makes texting fast and simple. It also comes with Triple Minutes for Life, which is a fantastic deal. If you still have a phone with double minutes, (or no extra minutes!) you should probably upgrade and at $5 this deal is hard to beat! Just be sure to buy the Moto EX 431G that has Triple Minutes as some versions only have double.

If you're looking for a big minutes bundle, check out this deal on HSN for the Moto EX431G and 2000 minutes for $100. The minutes alone are worth more than $100, and this deal works out to 5 cents per minute.

2. LG 306G for $20 on Amazon (and eBay!)

About the Deal: The LG 306G is a touchscreen phone from Tracfone that uses GSM networks and does not have the Android operating system. It comes with Triple Minutes for Life and the minutes are all in one 'pool'.

The LG 306G was released more recently and you can check out our review of the LG 306G for more information on the phone. It is a great little device similar to the LG 840G and $20 is the lowest we've seen for it.

This deal comes with free shipping, and is available on eBay as well.

3. 200 Minutes for $35 and 400 Minutes/1 Year for $93 on Amazon

About the Deal: These two deals on minutes are a nice discount from the usual price on minute cards for Tracfone.

A 200 Minute Tracfone Card usually goes for $40 (plus tax) and this deal is for $30.50 plus $5 shipping.

A 1 year/400 minute card usually goes for $100 (plus tax) and this deal is for $87.99 plus $5 shipping.

As you can see, each deal offers a few dollars off the usual price you find in stores and on the Tracfone website. So with a little planning you can save a few bucks.

4. LG Optimus Dynamic with 600 Minutes $40

About the Deal: The LG Optimus Dynamic is the smallest Android touchscreen device offered by Tracfone. It comes with Triple Minutes for Life, Android 2.3 and a 3.2" screen. While this phone is not as advanced as most other smartphones and suffers from low storage capacity, it is a great first smartphone and an incredible value.

5. LG Optimus Dynamic II with 600 Minutes for $100

About the Deal: The LG Optimus Dynamic II is bigger and better than the original Dynamic in almost every way. It has a 3.8" touchscreen, more internal memory, Android 4.1 and much more.

It typically retails for around $90 online and in stores, but this deal is for $100 and includes 600 minutes worth $40. If you're looking for the latest smartphone from Tracfone, this is it right now. Check out our review of the LG Optimus Dynamic II for more details on it.

This deal is also available through Amazon, but it doesn't have free shipping.

There are several shopping websites like HSN.com, QVC.com and ShopHQ.com which feature some great deals from time to time but they tend to be very short term. Keep an eye out if you're looking for a good deal on a new phone.

At $85, the LG Optimus Dynamic II is not the cheapest phone. But it retails on Tracfone for $130, and $85 is the lowest we've seen around for this solid phone.

4. LG Optimus Dynamic II plus 1200 minutes for $110 (HSN)

The Details: As mentioned in the deal above, the LG Optimus Dynamic is a great Android device. And if you're looking for some minutes along with a new cell phone, this is a pretty good deal.

You get the LG Optimus Dynamic II along with 1200 minutes (a $100 value) for just $110 (plus $10 for shipping).

5. Moto EX431G for $8 (Amazon)

The Details: We will be honest here, this is a simple phone that doesn't have WiFi or Android. But it does have Triple Minutes for Life and does texting and talking just fine.

If you still have a double minutes phone, this is a great option to upgrade to because it is so inexpensive. For just $8 you can get all the minutes you add Tripled instead of Doubled.

If you're looking for a cheap touchscreen phone with Triple Minutes, the LG 800G is an option at just $10 on Amazon.

The LG Optimus Dynamic II is Tracfone's latest offering for Android Smartphones. The Dynamic II comes with a large, 3.8" screen, Triple Minutes for Life, and Android 4.1.

Currently on sale for $89 on Amazon, this phone is filled with great features, not to mention the potential of all the apps available through Google Play.
